Orthodontics for kids (aligners/braces/plates)

We detect bite problems early, guide jaw growth and eruption, and treat with plates, space maintainers, aligners and braces.

What we do

  • Bite screening from early age; jaw growth forecasting.
  • Early appliances: plates, space maintainers, expansion devices.
  • Teen aligners and pre‑aligner preparation.
  • Braces: partial/full, metal, ceramic, sapphire.

Why it matters

  • Prevents crowding and malocclusion - easier to fix early.
  • Normalizes breathing and swallowing - affects jaw growth.
  • Preserves space for permanent teeth - space maintainers.
  • Easier hygiene and lower caries risk with aligned teeth.

Treatment pathway

  1. Consult & diagnostics
Exam, photos, X‑ray/scan if indicated; plan discussion.
  2. Planning
Choose between plate, space maintainer, aligners or braces.
  3. Fabrication / placement
    Impressions/scans, appliance delivery and instructions.
  4. Active phase
Regular checks every 4–8 weeks depending on appliance.
  5. Retention
    Retainers/trainers to secure the result.

FAQ

What age should my child see an orthodontist?
First screening at 6–7 years (eruption of first molars/incisors), or earlier if you notice issues.
Plates or aligners - which is better?
Depends: plates guide growth/expansion; aligners position teeth in teens. Often combined.
How long does it take?
Usually 6–24 months depending on age, complexity and compliance.
Is it painful?
Mild pressure/discomfort for 1–3 days after activations or new aligners is normal.
