When a tooth cannot be saved or there is an acute process, we act the same day: anesthetize, extract atraumatically, control bleeding and give clear aftercare.
What we do on the visit
- Exam and RVG X-ray if indicated to assess roots/risks.
- Anesthesia: topical/nerve block or STA.
- Atraumatic extraction (simple/complex/atypical, wisdom teeth).
- Socket debridement/irrigation, bleeding control, suturing if needed.
- Next steps: anti-inflammatory therapy, implant/prosthetic planning.

Aftercare
- Bite on gauze for 20–30 min; no rinsing for 24 h.
- Cold packs 10–15 min with breaks for the first day.
- No smoking/straws for 48 h; soft diet.
- Gentle hygiene; rinses/gels only if prescribed.
- If bleeding restarts: compress with gauze for 20 min; contact us if it persists.

FAQ
Will it hurt?
No - we work under effective anesthesia. Mild soreness for 1–3 days is normal.
When can I eat/drink?
After 2–3 hours choose soft, cool foods; hot foods next day.
What if bleeding starts again?
Firm gauze pressure for 20 min. If it continues - contact us.
When can I plan an implant?
After healing or immediately (case-dependent) - we’ll advise during consult.
