When to come urgently
- Acute pain, gum swelling, night pain.

Aftercare

Never reinsert a knocked-out primary tooth. Hold a permanent tooth by the crown, do not scrub the root and seek a dentist immediately. If it cannot be reinserted easily, keep it in milk.

A child’s dental injury: prompt, appropriate action
Pain, a chip or trauma requires assessment of both the tooth and the child’s general condition. At MasterDent, the pediatric dentist determines examination, imaging and initial care. Follow-up treatment may be necessary and is planned with the parent.
Knocked-out primary and permanent teeth need different management. A primary tooth must not be replanted; a permanent tooth requires immediate dental attention without allowing its root to dry. Loss of consciousness, suspected head injury or breathing difficulty requires emergency medical care first.
