A temporary filling is an intermediate stage
Temporary materials can protect a cavity or root-canal access between appointments. They are not a universal solution for acute pain and should not postpone necessary treatment. At MasterDent, the dentist determines whether temporary closure is appropriate after examination.
Wear time depends on the material and clinical purpose. Even without pain, return on the agreed date for treatment completion and definitive restoration. Loss of material or changing symptoms requires earlier contact.

No. It is an intermediate seal; definitive restoration follows the agreed plan.
What if it falls out?
Contact the dentist, avoid loading the tooth and do not use household products to seal it.
Should the tooth hurt afterwards?
Symptoms depend on the reason for treatment. Increasing pain, swelling or fever requires reassessment.
When can I eat?
Follow the instructions for the material and wait until numbness resolves. Avoid hard loading of the tooth.
Is anesthesia needed?
Sensitivity and the planned procedure determine pain-control needs. The dentist discusses it after examination.
Can I skip completion if there is no pain?
No. The absence of pain does not show that the seal is intact or treatment is complete. Return on time.
Does the filling price include root canal treatment?
No. A temporary filling, root canal treatment and definitive restoration are separate stages and estimate items.
