  3. Preparation
    Atraumatic removal of decay; adhesive protocol.
  4. Layered build-up
    Incremental composite placement to restore anatomy.
  5. Finishing & polish
    Shaping, smoothing and high-gloss polishing.
  6. Occlusion check
    Adjust bite contacts as needed.

Aftercare

  • Avoid hard foods/strong dyes for 2–3 hours.
  • Home care: soft brush, daily floss/interdental aids; low-abrasive toothpaste.
  • If bite feels high or sensitivity persists — come for an adjustment.
  • Professional hygiene: every 6 months if you have no braces/implants and gums are healthy.
  • Every 3–4 months if you wear braces/aligners; have implants/crowns/bridges; gum inflammation/periodontitis; diabetes; smoking; frequent new cavities.
